Restaurant Introduction

This restaurant selects high‑quality beef and cooks it fresh on a high‑temperature iron plate, filling the air with a sizzling, smoky aroma. The signature teppanyaki black pepper beef is tender and juicy, coated in a rich black pepper sauce that is savory, slightly spicy, and absolutely perfect with rice. The teppanyaki squid is also highly praised, with a chewy texture and deep flavor. Each set meal comes with a fried egg and seasonal vegetables (such as corn, broccoli, etc.), offering a balanced nutritional profile. The restaurant is clean and tidy, with fast service, making it an ideal choice for students and office workers looking for a quick and satisfying meal.
Diner Reviews
Gupu has just recently opened. It is located on the ground floor of the Xinghe Plaza office building and is connected to the wonton shop next door. The braised beef brisket rice features beef brisket and potatoes that are stewed until tender and richly flavored, and the portion size is quite generous.

Yesterday I had wontons, and today I came to try the teppanyaki. The restaurant was very quiet, and when I asked the waiter, they said it was because it's the weekend – on weekdays the footfall is pretty good. It feels a bit odd, though; maybe the place hasn't done enough promotion. After all, the residents in the industrial park area have decent spending power, and the food here isn't expensive either.
