Address:F4, YINXIANG City (Impression City), No. 290 Anning Street, Yuci District, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, China
Restaurant Introduction:

517 Teppanyaki is a unique dining style that blends the essence of Western, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. Although the name suggests a ‘French’ influence, it didn’t actually originate directly from France. Instead, it builds on the core format of Japanese teppanyaki—cooking face‑to‑face in front of the diner—while incorporating the refined concepts, sauce culture, and plating artistry of French cuisine, creating a new culinary trend.
Diner Reviews:
“My boyfriend and I went there. It was raining that day, so there weren’t many people when we got there. We decided to sit by the grill. It was really cool watching the chef cook everything right in front of us and put the food right onto our plates. It felt so cozy and lively—totally different from just sitting at a table and waiting for your food to come out. Their tea was also really good—refreshing and it really opened up our appetites.”

“Overall, the food was pretty good, but it’s a bit pricey for what you get. The Angus ribeye was nice – cooked medium‑well, tender, and had a good beefy taste. Recommended. The teppanyaki shrimp was solid too, decent quality. And the beef fried rice was super fragrant – definitely recommend that as well.”
